Event Description

Tuesday Talk about Textile Arts and Tapestry over Tea presents Dr. Lucy Lewis Johnson, Professor of Anthropology, Vassar College. Enjoy a cup of tea while learning about the role textiles play in cultural expression.

Lucy Johnson has done archaeological field work in a number of locations, including the Shumagin Islands of Alaska, Dennings Point in Beacon, and the Mohonk Preserve.  Her interest in textiles is both professional and personal: she is an avid knitter.
